What are the advantages of stenciled concrete?

Stenciled concrete gives the appearance of real stone, tile or brick without the higher installation costs and maintenance, available in a wide range of colors and patterns to choose from, with more options for the contractor and homeowner. Stenciled concrete leaves a flat and even surface better suited for pool decks, walkways, driveways and interior floors.

How many patterns are available?

DCI manufactures the industry's largest selection of patterns available, available in paper for cast-in-place, overlayment, drywall, and asphalt applications.

Why choose DCI?

Our stencils are made with a thicker, more durable, double sided poly-coated paper similar to poster board. The stencil lays flat, doesn't obsorb moisture and because the paper is thicker and more durable it is easier to align and remove. All our stencils are manufactured at our facility in Webb City, Missouri.

What are the advantages of stenciled concrete versus brick, stone, tile, and so on?

Stenciled concrete can be reinforced to serve any structural need or purpose. Stenciled concrete offers the option of multi-colored, patterned, and textured designs to compliment the existing structure. Stenciled concrete produces a surface that is flatter than stamped concrete, brick, and stone surfaces.  It is a lower cost, lower maintenance product.

What are the advantages of stenciled versus stamped concrete?

Stenciled concrete produces a more realistic appearance, comparable to brick, stone, tile, etc. at a lower price. The average cost of a one pattern set of stamps is around $1,000. Stenciled concrete produces a flatter surface that contains the texture of brick, stone, or tile. Includes a realistic grout line, all in a one-step application. Stencils are great for a one time DIY project.

What if I am already stamping concrete?

DCI offers the Stamper another option for their customers to choose from. Concrete stencils are great for contractors because there is virtually no start up cost and your customer can pick from a variety of 24 field patterns, 7 boarders and headers, and 8 accent pieces.

What is overlay or coatings?

Generally, overaly or coatings are a polymer, sand, and cement mixture that can be used on existing cement to resurface it. Stencils can be adheared to the existing concrete surface with sticky tack and sprayed with the overlay or coating. The stencils are then removed and the surface is cleaned and sealed.
